Nature Park Amager – A wild nature haven in the middle of Copenhagen

Need a break from shopping? Hop on the metro and get off at Vestamager station, 20 minutes later and you’re in the heart of Nature Park Amager, ready to embrace and experience the green nature as far as your eyes can see. With its central position Nature Park Amager is an ideal place to visit, if you are looking to get away from the big city’s hustle and bustle without actually leaving Copenhagen. So what are you waiting for? Grab your friends by the hand and go explore the vast park or go picnicking in one of the many beautiful picnic spots available in the Park.

Nature Park Amager is 10 times bigger than central park, and hosts a wide range of rare birds, a multitude of insects and protected amphibians. It’s an ideal example of urban life and wild nature going hand in hand.

Activities in Nature Park Amager

The Nature Park is open all year round and it is free for everyone to use. There are wide ranges of activities that are all free or low budget.
