H. C. Ørstedværket The area behind H.C. Ørstedsværket has for a longer period of time been a street art gallery. Graffiti artists from all over the world has painted in the hall of fame, as it’s called. The owner of the place chose to let the graffiti artists paint on the walls legally, and for 17 years the place has been a gathering point for danish graffiti artists. But the hall of fame is now threatened to be demolished, and replaced with a residential area.

Artworks like the 17 years old piece Evolution will be lost. Evolution is a 170 meter piece that shows the evolution from the big bang and up unto the ice time. this piece was created legally in 1999 and 2000 by danish graffiti artist Ulrik Schiødt.

H. C. Ørstedsværket is located at Enghave Brygge south of fisketorvet in central Copenhagen . The work belongs to DONG Energy. The hall of fame is located behind H.C. ørstedværket.
